HUMANITARIAN AWARD

One of my greatest achievements thus far has been being awarded the Anne Frank Humanitarian Award for the non-profit I co-founded in high school. This award recognizes those humanitarian actions that better the lives of others. By "doing the right thing," recipients hold true to the spirit of Anne Frank, who endured and did not abandon her ideals in the face of hardships.

BAGS OF HOPE 2023 UPDATE

As of January, over 23,000 bags have been provided to the Tampa Bay community. Basic necessities often taken for granted are collected and bagged for the homeless, near-homeless, and less fortunate to provide dignity during a tough time. As a cofounder we encourage and empower youth to be the leaders of Bags of Hope. These basic items are shared with local families, shelters, Feeding Tampa Bay/ Trinity Café, The THHI (Tampa Hillsborough Homeless Initiative), Meals on Wheels, Blankets Tampa Bay, Revive and Restore, Hurricane victims, Veterans, and other non-profits serving the homeless and near homeless communities.

DANCE MARATHON UNIVERSITY OF FLORIDA Aug. 2020 - present

Participation in the Dance Marathon at UF is one of my most rewarding experiences. As a freshman, I was an Emerging Leader and in my sophomore and junior year, I had the privilege of being a Captain. This year, I am serving as the Assistant Director of Media Outreach for the Public Relations team. After personally losing my brother Brandon at just 15 to brain cancer, I am dedicated to helping children fight for cures and research for childhood illnesses. DM at UF is one of the five founding Dance Marathon programs in the nation. Since its start, they have raised more than $21.5 million for the Miracle Families UF Health Shands Children’s Hospital.
